At that moment, Jiang Ruoxi’s phone rang.
The caller was Xing Tiankai.
He owned a chain of clothing companies, as well as a large garment factory.
Compared with Xing Tiankai’s enterprise, Jiang Ruoxi’s company was much smaller. She, too, had a small clothing factory.
Ordinarily, the fabrics her company used were supplied by Xing Tiankai’s firm.
“President Xing, I was just about to call you. Why hasn’t that shipment of fabric arrived yet? I’m waiting to use it.”
“Jiang Ruoxi, I’m afraid we won’t be able to continue our cooperation.”
“Why?” Jiang Ruoxi asked.
“This morning, your grandfather called my father. He wants us to stop supplying your company. His aim is to force your business into bankruptcy so you’ll return to the Jiang family and submit to their control.” Xing Tiankai’s voice carried a mocking undertone.
Jiang Ruoxi was instantly furious.
The Jiang family was utterly despicable, resorting to such methods to force her into submission.
No matter what happened, she would never yield.
“President Xing, our cooperation has nothing to do with the Jiang family. I hope you won’t let outside influences affect your decision. If you have any demands, feel free to state them, but please don’t terminate our partnership.” Jiang Ruoxi spoke with complete sincerity.
“How about this? Come to Nine Rivers Club tonight, and we’ll discuss it in person. Come alone. Does that work for you?”
Jiang Ruoxi hesitated.
She knew exactly what sort of man Xing Tiankai was.
He was notorious for being a lecherous womanizer.
If he was inviting her alone to a club, he clearly had ulterior motives.
But for the sake of her business, Jiang Ruoxi had no choice but to agree.
“Fine. I’ll be there on time.”
“Hahaha, then it’s settled. I’ll be waiting for you.”
Jiang Ruoxi said nothing more and hung up.
She was deeply troubled and could not shake off her unease.
“What’s wrong?” Song Yuqi asked.
Jiang Ruoxi told her exactly what Xing Tiankai had said.
“That man is definitely up to no good. You absolutely cannot go alone,” Song Yuqi said.
“Yuqi is right. We’ll go with you. At least that way, you’ll have some protection.” Hu Yuan hurriedly chimed in.
This was a perfect opportunity to show off, and Hu Yuan had no intention of missing it.
He had long coveted Jiang Ruoxi’s beauty and figure. He had not yet gotten what he wanted, and he certainly could not let another man take advantage of her first.
After hesitating for a while, Jiang Ruoxi finally agreed.

After the three of them had dinner together, they went to Nine Rivers Club.
Nine Rivers Club was Xing Tiankai’s territory.

“Didn’t I tell you to come alone? Why did you bring two friends?”
Jiang Ruoxi offered him an apologetic smile. “President Xing, please don’t be angry. Let me introduce them. This is Song Yuqi, the eldest daughter of the Song family, and this is Hu Yuan, the young master of the Hu family. They’re both my friends. I didn’t really want them to come, but they insisted on joining in, and I couldn’t stop them.”
Xing Tiankai’s gaze moved slowly over Song Yuqi and Hu Yuan.
Song Yuqi was breathtakingly beautiful, every bit as attractive as Jiang Ruoxi.
If he could have both women at once, it would be heavenly.

As for Hu Yuan, although the Hu family could be considered a prominent household, it was merely a third-rate aristocratic family. He did not need to take them seriously.
“Since you’re here, sit down,” Xing Tiankai said expressionlessly.
The three of them took their seats one after another.
They began to talk.
Jiang Ruoxi kept trying to persuade Xing Tiankai to continue doing business with her.
He seemed distracted and repeatedly urged them to drink.
He wanted to get Jiang Ruoxi and Song Yuqi drunk.
As for Hu Yuan, he had plenty of ways to deal with him.
What surprised Xing Tiankai was that all three of them had remarkably high alcohol tolerance.
Even after finishing two bottles of red wine, none of them showed any signs of drunkenness.
Xing Tiankai could not wait any longer. He decided to use his ultimate weapon.
“Chairwoman Jiang, you’ve said quite a lot, and I can see that you truly want to continue working with me. In that case, I suppose I can agree, though I’ll be making a considerable sacrifice.”
“Thank you so much!” Jiang Ruoxi said excitedly.
“I’ll go get another bottle. We’ll have one more toast, and then our cooperation will officially be renewed.”
“Of course! Of course!” Jiang Ruoxi replied repeatedly.
Xing Tiankai then rose and left the private room to fetch another bottle.
“That man wanted to get us drunk, but he never expected us to hold our liquor so well. Now that he has no other options, he can only agree to continue working with you,” Song Yuqi said to Jiang Ruoxi.
“That’s what I thought too. Thank goodness you two came with me tonight.” Jiang Ruoxi covered her mouth and giggled.
“Don’t worry. With me here, he won’t dare do anything to you. If he tries anything funny, I’ll take him down in an instant,” Hu Yuan declared.
The three chatted idly, and the atmosphere was harmonious.
More than ten minutes later, Xing Tiankai returned carrying an opened bottle of red wine.
“This bottle is from my private collection. I only open it when I’m negotiating a business deal.”
With that, Xing Tiankai poured wine into the two women’s glasses, then added only a little to his own.
“Come, let’s raise our glasses and celebrate the continuation of our partnership.”
Neither Jiang Ruoxi nor Song Yuqi suspected anything. They both lifted their glasses.
Hu Yuan was not drinking from that bottle, so they felt safe with him there.
The three of them clinked glasses and drank everything in one go.
After setting down his glass, Xing Tiankai revealed a sinister smile.
Tonight, he would get to play with two women. What could be better?
Song Yuqi had practically delivered herself to his door. It would be a waste not to enjoy her.
Before long, Jiang Ruoxi and Song Yuqi began to feel dizzy and weak in their limbs. They collapsed against the sofa.
“What… what was in this wine…?” Jiang Ruoxi murmured, her eyes unfocused.
Hu Yuan immediately stood up. “There’s something wrong with the wine.”
“Master Hu, they’ve merely had too much to drink. Who told you there was anything wrong with my wine?”
“Don’t give me that nonsense! They were perfectly fine just now. How could they suddenly be drunk? There’s clearly something wrong with that bottle. You’ve got some nerve, playing tricks right under my nose!” Hu Yuan shouted angrily.
Xing Tiankai stood up and slapped Hu Yuan across the face.
“Shut your filthy mouth! The Hu family is nothing but a third-rate household. What gives you the right to shout at me? Keep barking, and I’ll kill you.”
“How dare you hit me!” Hu Yuan roared.
At that moment, the private-room door opened.
Four or five burly men rushed inside.
They immediately restrained Hu Yuan.
“Don’t touch me! If you offend the Hu family, you’ll die a horrible death!” Hu Yuan shouted as he struggled.
“Get lost! The Hu family is nothing. Beat him!”
The burly men began pummeling Hu Yuan.
He screamed repeatedly as they struck him.
Meanwhile, Song Yuqi forced herself to speak.
“Xing Tiankai, I’m the eldest daughter of the Song family. Aren’t you afraid that the Song family will make you pay for treating us this way?”
“Hahaha! The Song family may be powerful, but I’m no pushover either. My godfather is Chen Hu of the Mighty Tiger Gang, known to everyone as Tiger Lord. Does your Song family dare challenge the Mighty Tiger Gang?”

Neither of them had expected Xing Tiankai to have such connections.

By then, Jiang Ruoxi and Song Yuqi’s consciousness had begun to fade.
They no longer even had the strength to speak.
Fortunately, when Song Yuqi realized they had been drugged, she had secretly sent a message to Han Yang.
Han Yang had received it and said he would come immediately.
Hu Yuan continued pleading. “Young Master Xing, please stop! I was wrong! Please stop! You’re going to kill me!”

Hu Yuan scrambled to his feet and fled in a panic.
Although he was unwilling to let Xing Tiankai violate the two beautiful women, there was nothing he could do.

After rushing out of the club, Hu Yuan initially planned to get into his car and leave.

“Hahaha, little beauty, spare me the empty threats. Tonight, both of you are destined to become my women. I’ll make sure you enjoy yourselves beyond your wildest dreams. What incredible luck—buy one, get one free.”
The instant Xing Tiankai finished speaking, the private-room door was kicked open.
A tall, imposing figure stood in the doorway.
