Facing Xu Yaru’s gaze, Mrs. Xu quickly waved her hand, “It’s nothing, nothing. Mom’s just making a call.”

With that, she hurriedly dialed Xu Xu’s number on her phone.

Xu Xu, who was in the middle of a livestream, was startled to see the call from Mrs. Xu.

“Could it be that she knows I’m on the other end?”
