Xu Xu organized her documents and headed toward the Xu Corporation.

Hearing this familiar voice, the receptionist finally snapped awake with a start.

It was Xu YaRu's voice.

"So what if I threw her things? Is it any of your business!"

As soon as the shrill voice finished speaking, the sound of a large pile of objects being smashed to the floor followed immediately.

Xu Xu frowned and quickened her pace.

"Miss YaRu, you are going too far!" Tan Rui said angrily. "Even if Sister Xu has resigned, these are still her personal belongings. What right do you have to throw them away?"

With that, Tan Rui rushed forward to retrieve the rest of Xu Xu's things, but Xu YaRu grabbed her by the arm.

"Her things? Anything inside this company belongs to the company!"

Xu YaRu was dead set on using Xu Xu to establish her own authority this time.

She was well aware of Xu Xu's reputation within the company, and the majority of people resigning over the past two days were doing so because of that bitch Xu Xu!

"You what you? You're fired!" Xu YaRu lifted her chin and swept her gaze over the others. "Anyone else want to speak up for Xu Xu?"

The rest of the project team members wore faces of suppressed fury. They had long wanted to quit ever since Xu Xu left!

Yet this project was something they had poured their blood, sweat, and tears into; they simply couldn't bear to hand it over on a silver platter!

Seeing everyone reduced to silence, Xu YaRu felt a surge of exhilaration in her heart.

"My, what a grand display of official authority. You fire people just because you feel like it. Xu YaRu, have you ever studied the law?"

Xu Xu's cold voice rang out from behind Xu YaRu, startling her.

When Tan Rui saw Xu Xu, her face lit up with joyful surprise: "Sister Xu!"

Xu Xu smiled at Tan Rui, walked straight over, and pulled her up from the floor.

"According to labor law, if an employee is dismissed by the company without any fault of their own and without justifiable cause, they can apply for labor arbitration and demand compensation."

Xu Xu tilted her head slightly and smiled at Xu YaRu: "Xu YaRu, you certainly are generous."

"Compensation for what? She backed an outsider and talked back to her superior. What right do I have not to fire her?" Xu YaRu sneered, then looked Xu Xu up and down. "As for you, what are you doing here at the company? Get lost right now!"

Xu Xu rolled her eyes and was about retort when Xu JianGe's voice suddenly echoed out.

"Rebellious girl, what nonsense are you spouting!"
