Starlight Exposition Kindergarten.

Jiang Yun drove the car into the staff parking lot of the kindergarten, where Principal Wei Jianqi was already waiting.

As Jiang Yun parked the car, Wei Jianqi quickly walked over. “Mr. Jiang, it’s truly an honor that you’ve chosen our kindergarten. Please, come inside.”

He gestured politely, his gaze inadvertently settling on Shen Suining’s face, a flicker of confusion crossing his eyes.

How could this woman look exactly like Jiang Jiang’s mother from the Apple Class?

Only, this woman was dressed far more elegantly and luxuriously.

Thinking this, Wei Jianqi dismissed the thought—after all, there were many people in the world who resembled each other.

His eyes then shifted down to Jiang Yinuo’s face, and a warm, affectionate smile spread across his features. “This must be young Master Jiang, a fine young gentleman indeed.”

“Mr. Jiang, you can rest assured sending young Master Jiang to our kindergarten. We will provide him with the utmost care and attention.”

Shen Suining noticed the curious glance Wei Jianqi cast her way.

Her heart filled with unease, fearing he might ask something, but fortunately, her worries did not materialize.

As Wei Jianqi enthusiastically recommended Starlight Exposition Kindergarten to Jiang Yun, Shen Suining quietly exhaled with relief.

Yet, before she could fully relax, a warm hand grasped her waist, and Jiang Yun’s deep, seductive voice whispered by her ear.

“In our family, both I and our son follow your lead. As long as you’re satisfied with the kindergarten, I have no objections.”

Lowering his head, Jiang Yun affectionately murmured to Shen Suining, “Honey, are you satisfied with this kindergarten?”

Shen Suining froze, then met Wei Jianqi’s expectant gaze, wanting desperately to discreetly brush Jiang Yun’s hand away but unable to.

She could only clutch her uneasy heart and smile faintly at Wei Jianqi. “Before coming, I already learned about the kindergarten. As long as Yinuo is happy, I am happy.”

Though this passed the decision to Jiang Yinuo, it was also Shen Suining’s genuine sentiment.

Objectively speaking, this was the kindergarten she was most satisfied with in all of Ning City. Jiang Jiang had been studying and living here for over a year without any issues, proving the kindergarten’s quality.

However, since this was where Jiang Yinuo might be enrolled, his preferences mattered most.

She had no right to make the decision for Jiang Yinuo.

Yet Jiang Yinuo had a different view. He immediately hugged Shen Suining’s leg, looking up with a small face and said, “If Mom likes it, then I like it too!”

Even if Wei Jianqi wanted to curry favor with Jiang Yun, he now recognized the truth: the one who had the final say was Shen Suining.

He looked at her even more earnestly, hoping she would make a decision promptly.

After all, Jiang Yun had returned with a substantial amount of capital and countless government cooperation projects, two of which were specifically prepared for his son’s kindergarten.

This was no secret among the well-known kindergarten principals in Ning City. In fact, before Jiang Yun’s return, they had already begun competing openly and covertly, eager to enroll Jiang Yun, the big benefactor, and Jiang Yinuo, the little benefactor, into their kindergartens.

Truly, this could become a ladder to their own career advancement.

Yet Wei Jianqi did not realize whether he was a step behind others or Jiang Yun was just very discreet. Before meeting Jiang Yun’s family today, none of them had discovered that the real decision-maker was the woman Jiang Yun had brought.

Had he known earlier, he would have sought out this lady’s identity information long ago. Now, it was clearly too late.

Wei Jianqi, still waiting for Shen Suining’s reply, felt somewhat anxious. Had they already visited other kindergartens and made a decision?

That would not do!

He was determined to enroll Jiang Yinuo in Starlight Exposition Kindergarten!

As Wei Jianqi pondered how to persuade Shen Suining, he heard her say, “Principal Wei, we haven’t seen all the campus yet. How about we finish the tour before making a decision?”

Shen Suining truly did not want to make the decision for Jiang Yinuo; she needed a chance to speak privately with Jiang Yun.

Seeing her sincere wish to continue the tour, Wei Jianqi felt a bit relieved.

He hurriedly said, “Perfect timing. Our teachers, students, and parents are currently holding a parent-child event in the auditorium. It’s a cultural performance. If you and Mrs. Jiang are interested, we can move there to watch.”

Upon hearing this, Shen Suining hesitated.

She hadn’t wanted to visit the auditorium.

Before she could protest, Jiang Yun nodded and said to Wei Jianqi, “Principal Wei, please show us the way.”

Wei Jianqi quickly led the three toward the auditorium, mentally debating whether to contact the teacher in charge to bring forward the kindergarten’s best performances, so that the youngest children wouldn’t be on stage first.

Otherwise, if Jiang Yun saw a bunch of toddlers chaotically dancing about on stage without understanding instructions, it might tarnish their impression of the kindergarten.

Unfortunately, he found no opportunity to arrange this along the way and could only leave it to fate.

They entered through the auditorium’s back door. The overhead lights were off, leaving only the stage brightly illuminated.

Everyone’s attention was on the stage; no one noticed their arrival.

Wei Jianqi initially intended to lead Jiang Yun and his family directly to the front row reserved for officials but was refused by Jiang Yun.

Jiang Yun carried Jiang Yinuo in one arm and held Shen Suining’s hand with the other, sitting in an empty seat at the back row.

Seeing this, Wei Jianqi took a nearby seat as well.

Since entering, Shen Suining’s gaze had been fixed entirely on the stage.

The performance underway was the cheerleading routine the children had mentioned, “The moms are performing cheerleading.”

Shen Suining clearly saw Lin Yinxī standing center stage in the spotlight.

She wore a cheerleading outfit in a different color from the other mothers—a two-piece design revealing a slender waist slimmer than an A4 sheet of paper, flat and free of any scars or excess flesh.

Perhaps from dancing for a while, a few beads of sweat glistened on her skin, shining brilliantly under the stage lights.
