Chapter 138: I'll Just Pretend I Didn't See Anything, Please Continue
The power of that lightning strike was truly, insanely awesome.
Danilena, who was running ahead, was scared out of her wits. When she looked back, she saw Song Kai standing there like the God of Thunder, conjuring a bolt of lightning out of thin air.
That previously ferocious black demonic bird instantly dissolved into a wisp of black vapor.
As the black vapor dispersed, a black cocoon appeared on the ground.
It was identical to the cocoon hanging around Song Kai's neck.
Reaching out, Song Kai scooped up the black cocoon, shoved it into his pocket, and grabbed Danilena to resume running.
"Why are you taking that thing?" Danilena asked, utterly speechless.
"To eat," Song Kai replied, then took Desina over from Danilena's shoulders and urged, "Hurry, let's go! Watch out for those guards in the hound masks."
"Right."
The two of them shoved open the stone door ahead.
There was nobody outside the stone door.
Those gun-toting hound guards were all rushing toward the ordinary passage further up the tunnel; clearly, they dared not set foot inside this particular path.
That worked out perfectly.
Not far away was the ferry.
Carrying Desina, Song Kai sprinted onto the ship.
A hound guard on the vessel spotted Song Kai and Danilena. He immediately raised his gun and shouted toward them, "Who goes there! Halt and submit to inspection—"
"Bang, bang, bang..."
Before the hound-masked guard could finish, Danilena dropped him to the ground with a few well-placed shots.
Two more hound guards rushed out from the interior of the ship.
With a flick of his wrist, Song Kai fired two shots, dropping both men dead.
"Not bad at all. Your marksmanship is pretty good," Danilena praised.
Song Kai chuckled, pointing toward the side of the boat, and asked, "There's a speedboat. Do you know how to drive it?"
"Obviously. Hurry, get on."
All three of them jumped aboard.
Danilena severed the mooring lines, cranked the engine of the speedboat, and shot forward at high speed into the distance.
Some hound guards chased after them from the cave, but the speedboat was already far away.
Song Kai let out a thorough sigh of relief and dumped Desina onto the seat of the speedboat.
Though small in size, the speedboat was quite fast, hurtling outward along the cavern's waterway.
Song Kai knew they were safe now.
Desina lay unconscious in the front.
Song Kai reached out to test her breath; her breathing was normal, though she had likely been knocked out by some kind of sedative.
Having previously run for his life in desperation, now that safety was secured, Song Kai found Desina lying right in front of him quite enticing.
Moreover, they were currently on a speedboat, with only Danilena nearby.
Furthermore, Danilena was busy driving the boat and had no time to spare for him.
Song Kai swallowed quietly, then seized the opportunity to place his hand right on Desina's chest.
To be honest, Desina was an American girl, and in the eyes of Americans, she was undeniably drop-dead gorgeous. Her figure was just right—hot and fiery—making her a certified beauty.
Still, in Song Kai's estimation, she was perhaps a bit overly voluptuous.
However, they were undeniably huge.
He had never seen anything quite this massive before.
Song Kai squeezed a few times and instantly felt a rush of sensation.
Well, since he hadn't gotten the chance to touch Danilena back in the cave, this could be considered collecting a bit of interest in advance.
Hehehe.
Up front, Danilena was steering the vessel.
Just as Song Kai was thoroughly enjoying himself, Danilena suddenly spoke up.
"Feeling good, little virgin?"
"Huh?" Song Kai was startled. He instinctively yanked his hand back and stared at Danilena, stammering, "Hey, what are you talking about? I was just checking on Desina's condition, seeing when she might wake up."
"Heh, I'm just asking. You can continue if you want; after all, I'm driving the boat and can't see anything. When Desina asks later, I won't tell her either, really," Danilena said with a smile, without even turning her head.
Song Kai was rendered speechless. It was at this moment that he noticed a rearview mirror mounted right in front of the speedboat!
Damn it! Since when did driving a boat on the ocean require a rearview mirror? Who on earth designed this thing?!
That meant all his wretched, perverted behavior just now had been watched by Danilena the entire time!
Overwhelmed with sudden depression and embarrassment, Song Kai quickly blurted out, "Look, Danilena, you see... I was actually just testing out how she felt, really! I'm not a pervert. Men from Huaxia are never perverted."
Danilena chuckled.
Prompt
