Hearing the Way Beneath the Mountain — End of the Volume

Hooray! The storyline of the first volume, "Hearing the Dao at the Foot of the Mountain," has drawn to a close here.

Looking back, it still feels rather surreal that I have actually written three hundred thousand words!

Thank you all so much for your support along the way.

In my original expectations, this novel would only be reaching the point of official publication around now.

I never imagined it would receive the affection of so many fellow Daoists, and as a novice author, I am filled with a mixture of awe and trepidation.

I have no way to repay you other than to slack off a bit less and try to update with as many chapters as possible.

Many readers have commented that they truly love little Song's personality and his ways of conducting himself in the world.

There are also a few readers who hope he could be more adept at strategy.

Well, that will depend on how he grows.

In addition, some fellow Daoists have expressed a keen interest in the plotline concerning inner demons.

There is still a considerable amount of content remaining for this part of the story, but to avoid spoilers, I won't elaborate too much here.

Miao Miaoran is not particularly fond of writing overly esoteric and abstruse concepts; just like sword intent and the heart of the Dao, the subsequent inner demons will also be "tangibly materialized."

Finally, there is the "Sword Cultivator Side Story" that many readers have shown interest in.

Actually, those aren't just side stories, um...

Perhaps they will be revealed within the "side stories" of the second volume's plot.

Alright, thank you all, fellow Daoists, for your subscriptions, votes, and tips.

Miao Miaoran will strive to finish telling the story within my heart and give it a complete ending.

Thank you once again!
